Hemp protein bliss balls

Ingredients:
1 cup dates
4 tablespoons hemp protein powder
3 tablespoons chia seeds
4 tablespoons raw cacao powder
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
2 tablespoons acacia honey

Inspired by this recipe by the talented ladies from Femme Food

Directions:

  1. Add all the ingredients to a food processor and pulse until everything is well mixed.
  2. Scoop out the “dough” with a tablespoon and use your hands to roll the mixture into small balls.
  3. I rolled the bliss balls in finely chopped pistachios for some extra crunch and flavor, enjoy!

  • What is hemp protein powder? Can I use simply hemp seeds too? This looks absolutely delicious, I have to try it out :)

      Hemp protein powder are made from hemp seeds, but I don’t think it would give the same result to sub the two since they are not at all similar in texture and flavor. You can definitely make them with hemp seeds though, the flavor and texture will just wary a bit :)
