My super simple go-to matcha latte recipe
One of the things that I get the most questions about is how I make my beloved matcha lattes, so I thought it was about time that I finally shared my super simple go-to matcha recipe ♥
I have shared matcha latte recipes before, but I know that some of you were a bit overwhelmed by all the superfoods and foreign ingredients, so with this one I want to keep it nice and simple and share the basic recipe that I always use when I travel or go visit my parents and aren’t able to bring all my health store goodies. If you want to be all extra (you know you do), then I have also listed my favorite optional add-ins that I like to use when I am at home.
Make sure to check out more of my favorite matcha recipes right here!
Ingredients:
– Yields 1 cup
250 ml hot water, not boiling
A splash of plantmilk*
1 teaspoon (cerimonial grade) matcha
A little liquid stevia or pure maple syrup to taste
*preferably one of those “barista” froth-friendly ones (my favorite is from Oatly), they make the latte so creamy and foamy without the extra hassle of having to use a milk frother.
Optional add-ins:
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla powder
1 scoop of collagen
1/2 teaspoon ashwagandha
Simply add everything to a blender and pulse on high speed for about a minute, pour the matcha latte into a mug and serve right away – enjoy! ♥
