3 easy and healthy Christmas treats // Gingerbread, cacao & peppermint (w. video)
Good evening lovelies, are you ready for not just one, but three (!!) of my favorite healthy Christmas treats? ♥
For my second Youtube video I knew I wanted to share a recipe for one of my favorite little treats – bliss balls! They are so quick and easy to make, they taste absolutely delicious and they are easily made from all healthy ingredients! Since we are in December I decided to continue with the Christmas theme and share two old favorites from on the blog + a brand new Christmas recipe as well. These delicious bliss balls are the perfect little treat and I love to enjoy them with a big cup of tea while I watch cheesy Christmas movies ♥
In the video (and below) I share the recipes for:
– Gingerbread bliss balls
– Peppermint bliss balls
– Cacao coconut bliss balls (havregrynskugler)
The bliss balls are great to give as hostess gifts as well and since they are both gluten-free, plantbased and refined sugar free (if you leave out the candy cane coating), then they should fit almost everyones dietary restrictions (in case of nut allergies the almonds can easily be replaced by sunflower seeds). I hope you will enjoy these Christmas treats as much as I do, let me know if you give them a try!

Cacao coconut Christmas bliss balls aka. havregrynskugler
Ingredients:
2.5 deciliter (1 cup) pitted dates
2.5 deciliter (1 cup) oats
0.5 deciliter (0.2 cup) shredded coconut
1 teaspoon rum extract (optional)
2-3 tablespoons coffee (optional)
1 tablespoon coconut oil
Extra shredded coconut to coat them in
Directions:
Simply add all ingredients to a food processor and pulse until everything is well mixed and sticks together. Roll the mixture into 20 little bliss balls and coat them in shredded coconut. They are ready to be enjoyed right away, but I personally prefer to let them set in the fridge for an hour before serving. Enjoy ♥
